Match report On a hot and sunny day The Mighty 3s travelled to Northampton Exiles, thankfully with an ice box full of cold refreshments. Town won the toss and decided to bat first on a good looking pitch. Sadly our innings didn't live up to much as most of the team found a way to get themselves out. Our tenth wicket partnership of Parmar and Shaw did however show good resilience when they came together with ten overs to go and both batted solidly under pressure to see out the overs available to us. After a nice tea Town took to the field with Gordhandas and Parmar bowling well with the new ball, the latter trapping one opener leg before. Replacing them were Shaw and Khan who both created a catchable chance each which sadly we couldn't hang on to before Exiles had reached their target. It was a tough day out there and we know we'll have to concentrate harder with the bat in future.
