GLENN HODGES was awarded the player of the year award at the Northwood Town Cricket Club annual dinner on friday night, held at Northwood Golf Club.
Skipper David Bushnell received the players player of the year award and also picked up the trophy for most wickets taken in the season.
Shaun O'Neill took the award for most runs.
Sumeet Khetia was presented with the second eleven player of the year award whilst Neil Cheesewright was nominated as the players player of the year.
The third eleven reformed for the first time in over 15 years and skipper Tarang Katira was awarded the players player of the year trophy whilst Havan Patel picked up the player of the year.
Adam Hills received a century award whilst Bushnell picked up a trophy for seven wickets in one game.
Conor O'Neill received the club's young player of the year award.
The club celebrated a year of tremendous spirit and increased membership. The third team will be entering the league in 2011. Winter nets commence on December 5th 2010 at Nower Hill school and all prospective members are welcome to attend. Visit
