Match report After losing the toss and put in to bat, both openers were removed in the 3rd over to two identical balls moving in off the pitch and town found themselves struggling on 23/3. A partnership between Ravi Kotecha and Veer Vadgama allowed us to rebuild and get through some overs while ticking along the score. After the loss of this pair, relatively new member Jasdip Sagoo showed his fight by playing a mature innings to earn himself his debut half century ending town on 195/9 after 45 overs.

In reply, reliable Vadgama got two quick wickets to put all the pressure on Ickenham in what was a tough chase. However, powerful batting from skipper Cook and opener Mehra threatened to take away the game from town at one stage but spinners JB and Kotecha managed to break through partnerships giving Town their 2nd win out of 3 in the chess valley league.
