Match report Town travelled the 30 mile treck to Preston on a glorious sunday morning, once again Loomba lost the toss and Town were asked to field. Town struggled to get an early breakthrough despite tight bowling from opening pair Dave and Manek. However the introduction of Vadgama earnt town the wicket they needed.
Town soon found themselves running out of options with several bowling options tried and reliable Dave bowled out, Loomba decided to fill in some overs with himself and Adatia. With Adatia bowling a tight and consistent line, frustration kicked in which allowed him and Loomba to work through their middle order. After a long day in the field in a lot of heat, Preston finally finished on 200, leaving town a target of 201 on a batting friendly pitch.

Openers Loomba and Sanghi decided to start of attackingly and get ahead of the run rate with Sanghi smashing the openers all over the park, however as 3 quick wickets fell, Ravi Kotecha was introduced and alongside Sanghi were smashing all the wayward balls where they deserved to go, in what was a very classy innings from them both. Before we knew it they had put on a hundred run partnership and Town were crusing to victory. Unfortunately Sanghi fell on 81 but Paddy on his return back into cricket stuck around with Kotecha to finish it off.

The win has now put Town in good stead for promotion but its important to ensure we win our final two games!
