Match report Town were handed a beating by a young Hertford side full of talent.

Having been sent into bat, Town quickly collapsed on a good batting track, finding themselves on 38 for 5. Despite some solid resistance from the middle order, another swift collapse saw the innings end on 112 all out.

In response, Malik in particular started brightly, but Town's fielding let them down with a host of dropped chances. Ultimately though, it made little difference with Hertford romping home to secure a thumping 10 wicket victory.

Town will be hoping for a little better next week.
