Match report With a wet start to the day, The Mighty 3s took on Mill Hill Village at Chestnut Avenue. Having won the toss and elected to bowl first, Town's bowlers struggled as Village's openers batted well especially Dias who hit a hundred and despite failing to take chances to remove him earlier was eventually undone by Khan. By this point the runs had already pilled up and continued to flow to the end as Town were left to chase 240. After a hearty tea the batsmen tried to take the attack to Village and with some excellent batting from Balakrishnan (80) with support from Katira, were up with the required rate at drinks. Sadly Town were unable to keep this momentum going after both departed as we continued to lose wickets cheaply and in the end fell short. It was going to be tough chasing 240 and we tried to make a fist of it but really we need to do better in the field to ensure we don't have to in future.
