Match report With heavy rain the day before, Town won the toss and elected to bowl.

Daly and Syed complimented each other so well, with the former bowling inswingers and the latter outswingers. Syed was unlucky not to pick up more wickets after beating the bat on multiple occasions and having two chances put down in the slips. Daly consistent as usual provided Town with the start they required. The spin duo of Madhavan and Viral Patel really tightened the screw and put pressure on Langleybury on a wicket that was really assisting the spinners with Madhavan picking up a couple and Viral unlucky not to get more than one. Tanveer was introduced and with his clever bowling, took out their lower middle order before Keval Shah was reintroduced to finish the job.

In response, Loomba and Halai were comfortable before Loomba got dismissed with the score at 71/1 after 15. In typical Northwood Town style, a collapse ensued as Halai went soon after nicking off to the leg spinners followed by Unalkat giving catching practice to deep midwicket and a disastrous run out for Burt being sold down the river, leaving Town reeling at 88/4. Verma hit some big shots for a quickfire 26 but Town needed a longer partnership to steady the ship. Enter Madhavan whos instructions were to not come back without the win and boy did he deliver alongside a patient Tanveer as they built a partnership patiently to ensure Town win comfortably in the end.
