Match report The ones travelled to Chorleywood and decided to bowl first on what looked like a green deck and slightly slow track.

We couldn’t be more wrong and turned out we were bowling on a road, with true bounce and coming onto the bat nicely. Malik used the new ball to great effect, getting the ball to swing in the air and keeping things really tight his end whilst also picking up a couple of key wickets. It was definitely the best spell of his 1s career so far and much needed as town were leaking runs the other end, struggling with length, both Kayani and Rajani had short spells before the introduction of the spinners.

Although there was little assistance off the deck for the spinners, they tried their best to vary pace but quite a hit and miss day for the spinners. With town light on bowling options this week, Aggarwal took the gloves off for the ball and bowled exceptionally well with a 10 over bowling spell taking us to close with a total of 240 to chase down - very gettable on this deck!

In response, Towns batting woes continues with Loomba and Mikhil going in quick succession whilst Aggarwal struggled with cramp. Humayun played some exquisite shots that kept finding fielders before departing. With the top order wiped out, some good resistance from Iqbal and Burt got us back in the game but eventually Iqbal ran out of partners and Town fell quite considerably short.
