Match report Town 4's welcomed Watford Town 5's to Chesnut Avenue for an eagerly awaited return fixture.

Skipper Shaw won the toss and elected to bat on a wicket that was low and slow and proved difficult to score on. 120 was deemed a par score. Notable performances with the bat from Rohit Sharma (41), James Rich (21) and Shahmir Syed (20) helped Town get a very defendable score of 151.

With the sun coming out the wicket seemed to bat on but the Town bowlers had other ideas. Syed (8-3-9-1) bowling tight lines built up the pressure whilst at the end Vivek 'Smokey' Mohan (8-1-21-4) picked up the wickets with hooping swing. Watford Town did not have an answer and were skittled for 85 in 34 overs.
