Match report Town welcomed Old Haberdashers looking to end the season well with few wins.

Winning the toss Town skippers chose to bat first. Aggarwal yet again got off to a good start punishing any loose deliveries. Opening with Aggarwal was Vadgama trying to get some confidence back and hit his 1st boundary of the season. Town raced to 68/1 in just 12 overs with Aggarwal on 46. However, both departed quickly to leave Town on 75/2 in 15 overs. In-form duo Modi and Madhavan started to re-build the inning and put on 59 runs together before both departed leaving score on 137/4. Town were in danger of collapsing as non-existent middle order struggled to get going. Batting at 7 Town skipper played his usual aggressive inning scoring 35 in about 16 balls which included 4 massive sixes. He supported well by J Halai (17*) as Town were all out for 215 a score which looked on the short side considering the pitch was playing well.

Town seamers of Vadgama and Daly started very well. Daly in-particular bowled an excellent spell picking up 3 wickets. Old Habs were 36/3 after 12 overs. However, Jenkins and Watts put on an excellent partnership of 80. Town picked up couple of wickets to leave Old Habs on 122/5. But from that point it was all Old Habs as Jenkins and Mehta both score half centuries taking them home to win by 5 wickets.
