Match report Town travelled to Cheshunt Rosedale looking to finish the season well despite nothing to play for. Winning the toss Town decided to bat first.

In form top order of Aggarwal, Madhavan and Modi all departed early leaving town on 42/3. Burt also departed early with score 58/4 after 18 overs. However, promoted at no 6 Halai started building a good partnership with M Patel and together they added 57 runs. M Patel departed after a fine inning of 44 leaving Town on 120/5 after 31 overs. Lower order struggled to give Halai any support who departed for 32. In the end Town limped to 164 all out.
It looked like a below par score, but Town seamers started well with Vadgama picking up 2 early wickets. Kieron P also removed dangerous looking opener Holly to leave Cheshunt on 49/3. Town’s top wicket taker Halai also bowled well removing dangerous looking middle order of Grant, Richardson and Sritharan. At 87/5 Town were well on top but Cheshunt lower order showed some fight and score started ticking despite wickets falling. When things look tight skipper threw the ball to Pradhan who picked up his first wicket for the 1s. He bowled a tidy spell taking 2/13. Skipper K Patel came on needing 1 wicket to win and got that on the very first ball he bowled. Cheshunt all out for 150 Town wining the game by 14 runs.

Skipper K Patel spoke after the game: Despite us putting a low score was great fight from the boys to bring home 30 points. Halai was man of the match with his performance with the bat and bowl!
