Match report Despite a belter of a day , a beautiful pitch and a winning toss, NTCC 4s were unable to put up a performance reflective of their abilities.

NTCC 4s batted first and despite accurate and pin-pointed bowling were unable to take the attack to the opposition. JB attempted to anchor the innings after a top order collapse but the quota of bad deliveries was sparse and a score of 29 for 3 at the midway point never set the base for a last half explosion. Uzzie and Jas provide a glimmer of hope, both reaching double figures. Opposition bowled extremely accurately especially their spinner who took 3 for 15 in his 7 overs. NTCC innings ended in the 38th over with a meager 70 runs on the board.

The opposition comfortably knocked-off the runs by over 22. NTCC applied their trademark bowling and fielding expertise to make each run as tricky as possible. A single wicket from Myring provided a ray of optimism but the opposition batsmen were always in control with wickets in hand.

A difficult one to analyse to be honest, perhaps a change in batting order is required for next week....i don't think our bowling or fielding let us down.....we need our batsmen to perform at the party...onwards chaps...
