Match report NTCC welcomed Dunstable town to our home ground .Under slightly overcast skies, skipper Shah lost the toss and NTCC were asked to field first. Opening the attack, Rudra struck early with a wicket off a full toss, while Jeet kept things tight at the other end. Rudra continued to trouble the batters, drawing an edge from the second opener, only for it to be put down in the slips.

Keval followed with his trademark disciplined spell, unlucky not to claim a wicket after a simple catch went down off his bowling. The breakthrough eventually came through Krunal Puwar, who was rewarded for his persistence with two crucial wickets. Mitesh Pondha then spun his web, grabbing another two scalps to keep Dunstable under pressure.

The highlight of the innings, however, came from Jeet, who returned for a fiery second spell and ripped through the middle and lower order. His remarkable spell of five wickets in just three overs bundled out Dunstable Town for 144.

While NTCC’s bowlers performed admirably, the story of the innings was marred by lazy fielding, eight dropped catches, and unnecessary extras, which allowed the visitors to post a competitive total. Given NTCC’s history of chasing at home, the target of 145 quite tricky .

Chasing 145 on home turf, NTCC’s innings began steadily as openers Kunal and Bijendra negotiated the early overs while picking up runs. However, the momentum was soon broken when Kunal was bowled, followed quickly by Bijendra’s dismissal, caught on the boundary.

What followed was all too familiar—a classic NTCC batting collapse. Wickets tumbled in quick succession as the top and middle order once again struggled to apply themselves under pressure.

Amid the chaos, Krunal Puwar and Keval offered resistance, batting with intent and showing glimpses of how the innings could have been anchored. Their stand provided some respectability, but once they fell, the collapse resumed. NTCC were eventually bundled out for 103, falling well short of the target and suffering yet another home ground chase defeat.

Captain Shah said post match :

"Dropping 8 catches in the field is just not acceptable — it's well below our standards. And our batting, especially the middle order, continues to disappoint — particularly in home games. I honestly don’t know what to say anymore. They keep repeating the same mistakes and failing to step up when the team needs them. History is repeating itself, and we can't afford that if we want to move forward."
