We have been fortunate enough to receive a donation in the form of a free BBQ and DJ for the day this coming Bank Holiday Monday (30th) from our very own Andy Burt. To make the most of this opportunity we're planning to have a Club Day involving an inter club game, maybe even a tournament if we have enough people to fill teams.
The DJ & BBQ will be coming at around midday and feeding us for a few hours. There will be a fixture up ASAP on the website and I really stress we do need availability soon - it will make planning a lot easier.
We’ve seen from experience how exciting inter club games can be and this will have the added bonus of food and also being on a bank holiday - it’s also a great way to try and get new people involved in the club, so if you know someone who may want to take part then let me know - the games aren’t strictly limited to club members so get family and friends involved! Even if they just want to get a drink and a burger and sit on the boundary their support will be very welcome. The games will be on from 12 so even if you can only come down for a bit then please let us know!!!
