Match report NORTHWOOD Town put in a dismal performance as they succumbed by eight wickets to Southgate Adelaide.

Batting first, Town were aware of the importance of a solid start and they began cautiously with skipper David Bushnell scoring a patient 30. Richard Doling continued the good work and at 77-3, the visitors looked in a fair position. However, as has happened too much this season, Town's support batsmen couldnt provide good enough back up and wickets began tumbling regularly. Michael Lister scored 20 and Raj Kotecha showed maturity with an unbeaten 16, but the visitors were dismissed for a paltry 130.

Southgate were always unlikely to struggle to reach the target and their mission was achieved in 26 overs for the loss of two wickets with Bushnell and Jack Daly taking a wicket apiece for Town.
