Match report YET another poor batting display means Town are fighting yet another relegation battle as they succumbed to North Mymms by five wickets.

Batting first on a inconsistent pitch, the hosts started well enough with Scott Walker (26) and stand in opener, skipper David Bushnell (22) carved out an opening partnership of 59. Whilst Michael Lister (17) continued to hold one end up, the rest of the middle order inexplicably collapsed to 85-6 before Shaun O'Neill (21 not out) batted maturely to claw back some respectability. Nevertheless, the hosts were dismissed for a paltry 115 that was unlikely to be enough.

In reply, Mymms were pegged back by a decent opening spell from Bushnell and Dom Whyley and whilst there was the odd breakthrough the visitors knew they had time to coast to victory. Bushnell (2-19) and Akshay Loomba (2-7)picked up a couple of wickets each whilst Veer Vadgama was unlucky to only take one after a blatant caught behind was denied. Poor spirt of the game. Mymms were to ease home for the loss of five wickets.

A new drawing board is being constructed. It is worth noting that
those who had a net before the game were the only ones to get into double figures.
