Match report After surprisingly winning the toss, Captain Loomba elected to bat. After an encouraging opening stand of 40 runs, Loomba was the first to go by leaving a delivery that seamed in by home county standard bowler Berotov. JC soon followed with a sharp catch held onto at gully. A brief partnership between Ravi Kotecha and Pandey was the only other positive in a poor batting performance with extras being the top runscorer.

In reply Dave started off well with an early wicket to add to his impressive tally for the season, giving Town a glimpse of hope. However after a couple of catches were put down, Australian overseas Crawford took the game away from us with a magnificent unbeaten 76.

Town look onto next week with victory at Preston of high importance in their chase for promotion.
