Match report After losing yet another toss, skipper Loomba was asked to field. Bessborough took advantage of loose deliveries in the first few overs until Malik broke through to gain the first wicket. Going at over 10 an over Loomba brought on the reliable pair of Vadgama & Kotecha to peg things back. The pair bowled a pin perfect 8 overs between them putting bessborough on the back foot forcing the opposition to finish on 125 after 20 overs.

Towns reply started very poorly with both openers falling to the yellow ball in the first over. At 30-4 things werent looking good until the heroic 60 run partnership between Pandey and Raj Kotecha brough Town back into the game. Kotecha's fine innings came to an end on 30, but pradip saw it through to the end on an unbeaten 47 to earn victory for Town.

Captain Akshay Loomba spoke after the game: 'It was a great fightback with the ball in the middle overs and the batting partnership between Pandey and Kotecha was very impressive, we showed good fight and character and in the end were deserved winnners.'
