Match report Northwood Town must win their final two games of the season to avoid relegation after this heavy defeat to Broxbourne. The visitors won the toss and batted first but Town were well on top early doors as Johannes Van Ee produced a lively new ball spell to leave Broxbourne reeling. Van Ee picked up 4 wickets as Broxbourne fell on 135/6 but Town were unable to force the advantage and the visitors recovered to post a competitive total of 209/7. Town's response was nothing short of woeful as they showed very little application in the middle and wickets fell regularly. Only Phil Carter offered anything with a gutsy 26 but Town fell way short of their target and were bowled out for 109.

Town travel to Old Albanians next weekend sat 35 points adrift of safety. In all reality, they will need a victory to take into the final game otherwise they face losing their division two status.
