Match report Northwood Town were dumped out of the Watford Observer Fourteen14 Plate competition following a 45 run defeat to Watford Grammar School for Boys. Losing the toss, Town were made to field on a soggy outfield but to their credit they fielded superbly throughout. Adam Hills and Veer Vadgama were the pick of the bowlers for Town with 3 wickets apiece. The hosts made 138/8 off their 14, eight ball overs.

In reply, Town never got going. The pacey bowling of Gate caused all kinds of problems and after falling behind the rate, Town's batting was reckless and only 3 players made it into double figures as Town were eventually bowled out for 93.
