Match report Towns Sunday XI had a saturday fixture v Crouch End in what seemed to be the last game of the season for many. Town won the toss, and as always decided to have a bat. Opening pair Sanghi and Ramawat put together a solid partnership of 85 runs to provide a platform for the remaining batsmen. Crouch End did pick up wickets but the key for town was successful partnerships with S. Patel and Ravi Kotecha putting on a 50 run partnership followed by Loomba and Vadgama with a 90 run not out partnership to see Town through to a big total of 256 in 40 overs.

In reply, Opening bowlers Shahmeer and Dave kept it tight in their spell, both taking a wicket each. However it was only until Raj Kotecha, Towns 1st team spinner bowled a mesmorising 7 over spell picking up 6 wickets to kill the game off and earn town victory.
