Match report Town were taken down by league leaders Bushey after Town's batting unit had failed to capitalise on a decent start. With Loomba again showing good form in a neatly put together 43 and Cotton at his belligerent best with a gritty 39, the rest of the batting line up failed to perform to the level they can and Town ended up with 175 from the 53 overs when a score of around 230 had been on the cards.

Bushey knocked off the runs comfortably with Sharma striking 78 and none of the bowlers really showing much penetration.

Skipper Michael Lister emphasised that his side would persevere and look to the next game after the opportunity to topple the league leaders had gone begging, "it wasn't our best performance today but the team are all focused on turning things around next week. The spirit is good and there is a lot of confidence in our batting line up so we look forward to taking on second placed Old Elizabethans. We feel we might spring a surprise if we play to our potential"
