Match report Town lost the toss against fellow promotion rivals Baldock and were sent out to field.

After a solid if slow start from the Baldock openers Town broke the partnership with a phenomenal piece of fielding from Doshi to run out Watts.

Baldock continued to progress well, but none of their batsmen ever clicked into top gear and after Town made it through the top order, Vadgama raced through the line up to finish with figures of 4 for 35, Baldock ending on 164 for 9.

In response, Town got off to a good start with Pandey and Thakrar putting on 45. When the traditional collapse ensued though, Town were left rocking on 61 for 3.

A fantastic unbroken partnership of 104 between Rajul Patel and man of the match Ravi Kotecha though saw Town nerves settled and the win come with 3 overs to spare. Most importantly it saw the 3's rocket into a promotion place!

Next week come the unbeaten league leaders. With Town in spectacular form it promises to be one of the games of the season.
