Match report Town again battled hard but rued their failure to bat the full 53 overs as Rickmansworth chased a competitive score of 205 with 2 overs and 3 wickets in hand.

Batting first, Suvin Mekwan (26) again helped Town get off to a flyer with some superb positive strokeplay. A 50 partnership between Lister (49) and Vadgama (16) set the foundations for the innings and a delightful cameo from Raj Kotecha (29) at the end pushed Town past 200 for the third home game in a row. However, yet again Town didn't bat the full allocation and yet again they paid the full price for this error.

Kyle Lawrence (5-32) produced an outstanding display of bowling from the bottom end but a quickfire 91 from Rickmansworth's aussie overseas did the damage as Rickmansworth got themselves over the line, recording their first win of the season in the process.

Despite playing some good cricket, Town are still lacking the complete performance and the 30 points that their endeavours deserve. The 1s travel to Waltham Cross next Saturday.
