Northwood Town batted first and got off to a really steady start with the opening partnership proving successful once again as Loomba played the anchor role and Mekwan the destructor to give an 80 run opening partnership. At 105-2 off 27 overs, Northwood Town looked well placed for a big score but for the Flitwick spinners who’s disciplined lengths picked up regular wickets to leave Northwood Town stranded on 148-9. The 10th wicket heroic partnership of Daly and Silva got Northwood Town to a respectable total of 180 all out to give them a decent score to defend.

In reply, Flitwick made a consistent start and built their innings patiently, despite Northwood Town taking wickets at regular intervals with Silva and Krunal Patel the pick of the bowlers on this slow wicket.
