Match report Northwood Town continued their 7 game unbeaten run by convincingly collecting 30 points at home to Waltham X Rosedale.

Losing the toss and being put in, the town openers really struggled to gain any momentum and runs were very hard to come by on a pitch that was slow and seaming with the new ball. The new ball caused considerable damage taking the scalps of Vadgama (1), Lawrence (5) and Loomba (16). Enter Burt who had his struggles at the start of his innings but with his patience, managed to cash in as the ball got older to reach his second half century of the season to steer Town to an excellent score of 218 with support from Mekwan (36 and Mikhil (32).

In response, Town knew they had to take wickets to avoid yet another draw and the openers responded well with early swing get wickets at regular intervals with Lawrence gaining the key wicket of captain Roberts with some excellent slip catching from Mikhil Patel. Jack Daly and Chandana Silva supported the opening spell will to work through the middle order and secure victory for Town.
