Match report Northwood Town won the toss and elected to bowl first, in a park with no sightscreens.

From the start Town were chasing the game, not being up to the standards they had previously set in the field and with the ball. Town had a good spell in the middle of the innings with the highlights including Shahmirs brilliant run out aiming at one stump and Ram Patels outstanding 10 over spell, picking up 3 wickets, one of which bowled a batsman round his legs and stunning everyone. Stevenage batted well, with good running between the wickets finishing on 204 which looked par.

Northwood Town had a nightmare with the bat, and a collapse from hell. Combined with some tight and consistent bowling from Stevenage opening bowlers and some loose and questionable shots from Town batsmen, Town got skittled for 58. Muzzi showed a bit of resistance in the tail.

Skipper Raj Kotecha 'From start to finish we weren't at the races, just an off day. We've got to learn a lot from this game and pick ourselves up for next week. Don't want to be playing catch up later in the season.'
