Match report On a warm afternoon The Mighty 3s took on Bushey. Having lost the toss Town were asked to bat first with Bushey having brought their own umpire to a Regional Division match and insistent of doing both ends. It was clear from the outset that Town were going to be up against it and things didn't go our way with the bat as we struggled to a total of 127 all out with only Balakrishnan and Vadgama scoring well. After a lovely tea provided by Marjorie Pimm, Town took to the field hoping to take something from the game and it was Parmar and Pandey who bowled their hearts out to get us back into it. Sadly we just weren't able to fully turn the screw and a few dropped catches meant that partnerships at the end were able to get them over the line but it was a good effort from our bowlers to get us that close with such a low total. If we had scored more runs and taken all our catches we would have won but that could be said about most games of cricket.
