Match report The winning streak of tosses continued this week, skipper Gordy flipping the coin and inserting the division tail enders Abbots Langley into bat. Another great toss to win given the relative spiritless nature of the home pitch.

Opening bowlers Jeet and Myring bowled superbly cleaning up the top order with 4 wickets apiece. Only the openers reached double figures with the rest of the team scoring more ducks that you would see hanging in a Chinese restaurant. Pressure was applied throughout the innings by Gordy (1 wicket) and Amit. It was once again left to our famous Bollywood movie star to sweep up the tail with 3 amazing wickets. Excellent glove skills behind stumps from wicketkeeping prodigy Smit saw stumpings and catches galore. Match reporter take note LOL. Abbots Langley tamely ended their innings at 86 all out. Another dominating bowling and fielding performance from young and newly incorporated 3s team.

NTCC 3s openers Smith (22) and Kunal (24) set-off aplomb chasing the low target. A 49 run partnership laid the foundation for the middle order of Amit and Neel to wrap up the chase in the 30th over.

Great to see the discipline form previous week’s games continuing this Saturday. The confidence is growing and the objective to win and win BIG stays foremost.
