Match report NTCC 3s headed to West Herts to further their claim towards the Division title. Unfortunately WH's grass pitch had been condemned and the game was pushed onto their Astro.

WH batted first and a runout in the 2nd over from a missile like throw from Jaymin from point set the tone for the fielding and bowling. WH were unable to stitch together any sort of winning batting partnership largely due to some very accurate bowling from opening duo Deepak and Pratik. The fielding was again this week on par and this forced singles and sporadic running between the wickets. A flurry from mid-order batsmen Zadran added a much need total chasing 28 to the score, but these fireworks were short lived when he holed out to Teja at mid on. NTCC wickets were shared evenly amongst the 4 main strike bowlers, on a grass pitch the damage could have been much worse with the WH tamely ending their innings on 113 in 39.1 overs.

NTCC batting started positively with Pradip and Nishant taking the helm. Low scores often have a kamaikaze effect on batsmen, however NTCC showed their maturity and experience by hammering the bad balls and taking singles as they were plated up by WH. Pratik and Jaimin carved out most of the runs scoring 31 and 26 respectively. Skipper Kishan contributed 12 at the end to see NTTC safely over the line in 25 overs.
