Match report Today the toss was lost to division toppers Old Eastcotians and NTCC were asked to bowl.

The opposition maintained their run rate through out the innings with several partnerships including a middle order 50, there was never a doubt about a strong total being posted. Early on in the innings the pressure got to the NTCC opening bowlers and the extras started to pile up. Jeet bowled well in his allotted 7 overs at an economy of 2.42 picking up the wicket of one of the openers. Het and Abhay also picked up a wicket apiece but found the pressure harder as the top order sought to push on. Ultimately it was left to our own Bollywood superstar Pradip who has been positioning himself for selection for the upcoming World Cup T20 final to snare 3 wickets in his 7 over spell. He was ably supported by skipper Gordy who has found a new forte in spin bowling also picking up 3 valuable wickets. The innings ended on a record 205 all out on the 2nd to last ball.

Well….no mountain is too high, no river is too strong for our newly acquired talent Kunj. A breath taking 104 which included 11 boundaries and 2 sixes formed the backbone of the 3s chase. Ably supported by the skipper who scored 40 at over a run a ball took NTCC3s to within striking distance of this mammoth total. Rising superstart Jaymin and Smit knocked out the remaining few runs to win in the last over. A superb effort from the boys demonstrating real talent and grit to overcome division leaders.
