Match report On the last day of the season, Northwood Town were playing at home to Northwood 4s and having lost the toss, Sam and opening partner Ben went out to start off the batting innings.

Some quick initial scoring saw the pair get off to 27 off 9 overs on an outfield which wasn't offering a lot for along the ground shot makers. Sam got out to a top edge looking to clip the ball leg side and ending up being caught in slips. Ben and Tushar went on to build a small partnership before Tushar got out caught. The next four would also make light contributions but ultimately all get caught out. Some late additions to the score in the back order brought us to a total of 132 with the standout being Ben who stuck it out the longest and scoring 30.

With a somewhat healthy lead on the board and a good bowling line up, NTCC went out to secure a victory on the last day of the season. The fall of the first wicket came after not much time at all with opening batsmen Ryan getting caught off of James's bowling. A good opening spell from father & son partnership James and Henry saw a healthy 4 wickets being taken with 2-14 & 2-12 being their bowling figures respectively. Keval and Ganesh followed the openers with some excellent bowling including Keval picking up a four-fer with his figures totalling 4-19; one wicket going to an excellent slip catch from Saras! Roney and Sam came on at the end with Sam taking the last two wickets to seal the game at all out for 74 runs off of 37 overs. A great last win for Northwood Town 4s after a tricky season.
