Match report Brimming with positivity and renewed energy from last week's thumping win, NTCC 3s hosted St Alban's 5s at Chestnut Avenue.

The opposition skipper won the toss and due a slightly depleted side decided to bat first on damp, cracking soiled pitch. Unfortunately for the opposition the pitch played havoc with their ability to score, keeping low and displaying uneven bounce. Only the skipper was able to trouble the scoreboard significantly scoring 29. Credit to the NTCC bowlers for tight lines and lengths and giving very little away. Our openers Stanley and Pratik picked-up two wickets apiece but yet again out Bollywood Super Hero fresh from the red carpet at Cannes took three wonderful wickets leaving the opposition reeling, squirming and all out for 90 in 32.5 overs.

Our fresh new opening pair of Jaymin and Abdul plundered the bowling in a 50 plus partnership whilst dealing with a dryer but still deceptive pitch. Skipper Gordy smashed two boundaries to cruise comfortably over the target in the 24th over.

Despite the conditions and a developing opposition, we maintained discipline to bring home another 30 points.
